Quality System

All products are designed and manufactured through a quality system registered to the internationally recognised ISO 13485:2003 standard - assurance that we maintain consistently high standards in the development and manufacture of medical devices.

Product

Carnét suction and oxygen therapy products comply with the latest relevant standards and regulations including European and International Standards, the Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC and FDA regulations.

We are committed to providing our customers with superior quality and have implemented rigorous quality systems to assure this. We place a strong emphasis on quality design, utilising problem and waste prevention to build quality into our products and processes. By including customers in our product development processes we are able to understand and prioritise their requirements, thereby preventing deviations in our performance.

Every Carnét product is rigorously tested to assure conformance to specification.

Environmental

We recognize the necessity for responsible environmental management and conservation of resources. Pollution prevention, recycling, and reduction of all types of waste and emissions are integral parts of our culture. We are working towards registration to the internationally recognized ISO 14001 environmental standard.

Continuous Improvement

We continuously improve our products, manufacturing processes and business systems and recognise the importance of this strategy in retaining competitive advantage and creating new levels of efficiency. We measure customer satisfaction to determine our performance in the marketplace with distributors, customers, and the ultimate end users of Carnét suction and oxygen therapy products.

Supply Chain Excellence

The way we purchase raw materials has a major impact on our ability to give our customers consistent, quality products, on time and at competitive prices. Our supplier improvement process measures ongoing performance and emphasizes ISO 9000 registration. The majority of our suppliers are either registered to this quality standard or well on their way to becoming registered. Our goal is to achieve operational excellence in all aspects of procurement, manufacturing and supply, and customer order fulfilment. We will do this through the use of new technologies, a dedicated and talented workforce, and a commitment to the principles of continuous improvement.
